If you haven’t heard by now, Honduras is having a crocodile crisis. Cocodrilo Continental has shut down its doors to an allegation that the farm was laundering drug money by the US, and now 9,000 crocodiles along with other animals are suffering from lack of food and other basic husbandry needs. And let’s not forget about the employees who have also been gravely impacted.
The director of the Asociación Hondureña Protectora de los Animales y su Ambiente (AHPRA) has started a petition to reach out to the President of Honduras to take positive and immediate action in order to prevent a horrible animal welfare situation to formulate.
